Retirement Life Living Abroad & USA
Retirement Life Living Abroad & USA - FWR -financial wealth and retirement.
There’s a special kind of wisdom that comes from living in two places that feel completely different yet equally meaningful. For myself born and raised in USA in Manhattan Harlem (107th Park Ave) setting. My life in the Dominican Republic taught me the beauty of simplicity — waking up to warm air, hearing neighbors greet each other like family and feeling how far your money can stretch when life slows down. My life in the United States taught me strength, opportunity, and the comfort of stability and resources.
Living between these two worlds changed me. It showed me that retirement isn’t something you wait for — it’s something you prepare your heart and your life for. It’s about choosing peace, choosing affordability, choosing joy, and choosing a future that feels right for you.
That’s why I created Retirement Life Living Abroad & USA. I want to share with people who are retired, and people who are planning, discover the same possibilities I found — the kind that give you hope, options, and a sense of control over your future. Your next chapter can be beautiful, and you don’t have to figure it out alone. You can enjoy a taste of the Dominican Republic at the Santo Domingo Bay Resort, where the beach is just a short walk away and you can relax for the day or stay overnight in a full all‑inclusive setting.
One of the things I loved most about living on the island was how easy it was to enjoy real, fresh, healthy food and fresh fruits every single day. From preparing warm meals made with local ingredients to fresh fish brought straight from the sea, life just felt more natural and nourishing. Even simple things were affordable. In the Dominican Republic, I could buy 30 extra‑large fresh eggs for about $5, and they tasted like they came straight from the farm.
Here in the U.S., I paid $14 for just 18 organic eggs at Whole Foods. The difference is hard to ignore, and it shows how much more expensive everyday living has become in the States. When you’ve experienced both places, you really see how far your money can stretch — and how much healthier and lighter life can feel — when you’re living abroad.
